Requirements for an international educational collaboration system architecture, a case study: Coláiste Nano Nagle School in Limerick, Ireland, and Irshad High School in Kabul, Afghanistan
Data exchange between collaboration parties by consideration of GDPR and similar policies are still a serious challenge in educational organization collaboration. In this research project, we address this issue by applying a Broker plus Blockchain technology so that organizations will be able to implement a smart contract within existing agreements. We, therefore, design an architecture and prototype a collaboration application based on a broker Blockchain technology. Based on the motivating case study of the collaboration of two schools, we identified requirements via a structured questionnaire and our previous list of prioritized requirements for the architecture design. The application was also prototyped as a functional version of the prototype.
