The files included complement a manuscript that is submitted to the journal 'Additive Manufacturing' entitled: "Finite element prediction of distortion during the Fused Filament Fabrication process of PLA".

Two example Abaqus input files are included for predicting residual stress and distortion when using fused deposition modelling to print PLA material. One follows previously published work but results in lower computational cost, while the second models room temperature printing on a Prusa printer. These files can be run by anybody who has access to the Abaqus software and can be edited according to their needs (Abaqus Software).

GCode and *.3mf files are included which can be used to print the bridge sample on a Prusa printer (Prusa Website) or imported into other 3D printing software.

CT Scan Data is included which can be opened using ImageJ software (ImageJ) by choosing "File – Import – Image Sequence" followed by "Image – Stacks – Orthogonal Views". This will allow the user to "walk through" the FFF Bridge part in increments of ~42 microns.
