Abstract
Impromptus#1 Marco Cappelli: Guitar and EFX Giuseppe Torre: Live Electronics Duo free-form impro for the video work: HEAVEN and EARTH MAGIC by Harry Smith. For this live performance I had the honour to play with internationally renown avant-garde guitar player Marco Cappelli. The performance evolves as a free-form improvisation created extempore on the video artwork of New York based and grammy Award artist Harry Smith. For this performance I make use of various digital tools that allow me to capture and re-synthesis live input from the guitar player in real-time. (Software used: Ableton Live, PD, Max. - Hardware: MIDI Guitar, iPad, Kinect Camera)
