What is interactive art? An uncomplicated (possibly incautious) definition
Date
2018
Abstract
In this book I offer a definition of interactive art. The argument I put forward ( in a somehow unorthodox/tongue and cheek manner) is that interactive art is, in its essence, a poststructuralist practice. This claim does not want to be innovative in defining this art practice but rather wanting to be just succinct. For it, I begin and end with Roland Barthes by offering a re-mix/re-edit of the famous (or infamous to some) text by Barthes "The Death of the Author"
