We attempt to describe the dynamic character of the relationship between client and architect as it changes over the course of the design process involved in building a building.
The nature of the client architect relationship, and specifically the level of trust between
client and architect, is critical to the success of the design process, and making the dynamic character of this relationship explicit to both client and architect could enhance the
outcomes possible.
