Elizabeth I to the anti-smoking campaigns of Nazi Germany in the twentieth century. These essays demonstrate that History Studies is continuing to provide a platform for cutting edge research by both undergraduate and postgraduate students’. The wide variety of essays presented also demonstrates that there is an appetite among history students’ for historical knowledge. It is that search for knowledge that will ensure that the journal will continue to thrive into the future.
