itself. Due to feelings of inadequacy, in many instances the adult basic education learner displays low beliefs in abilities and capabilities which if not properly managed
and enhanced can negatively impact on learning and
consequently the meeting of those needs which prompted the learner’s return to learning.
With the rise of the use of technology in education, it is important to investigate and describe how computer technology impacts on the beliefs of capabilities that adult basic education learners hold of themselves.
